Enable Token Usage Analytics
Token Usage Analytics is controlled from Admin > Settings. When enabled, Willow adds the Tokens page under Monitor so admins can analyze token usage across MCP servers, toolkits, skills, and tool responses.
Prerequisites
You need:
- admin access to Willow
- an organization with MCP servers, toolkits, skills, or tool calls to analyze
- enough recent activity for usage tables and recommendations to populate
If the organization has no tool calls or no token-tracked sessions yet, the analytics pages can show empty states until new activity is recorded.
Enable the feature
- Open Admin > Settings.
- Find Token Usage Analytics.
- Turn the toggle on.
- Open Monitor > Tokens.

The setting takes effect for the organization. After it is enabled, use the Tokens page to review recommendations and drill into specific token sources.
What appears after enablement
The Tokens page can show:
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Recommended Actions | Prioritized actions with estimated token or cost savings. |
| MCP Context | MCP servers ranked by tool-description and input-schema footprint. |
| Toolkit Context | Toolkits ranked by context footprint. |
| Skill Token Analysis | Skills ranked by estimated token size. |
| Tool Response Optimization | Tools without response mappings, ranked by token consumption. |
| Output Format | Current tool output format used for response optimization. |
