Apps

Your assistant can use any app in Scout's catalog, or an MCP server you add yourself. These are the apps the setup offers first. Each page says how to connect it, which tools it starts with, and what to ask.

How the starting tools are set

Every app above starts with a set of tools already on, chosen the safe way:

• Reading runs freely. Listing, searching and reading run whenever your assistant needs them.
• Creating needs a session. Drafts, new items and comments run once you approved a session, then freely until it ends.
• Sending and changing ask each time. Sending a message, editing an existing item or approving something waits for you on every call.

Every other tool the app offers starts off. Turn on only what your assistant needs. See Apps and tools.

Pick your apps

In the setup, you pick up to 3 apps under What do you want to connect?. To add more later, open your assistant's page and click Add under Connectors. Search by name, filter by category, or paste an MCP URL to add your own server.

You sign in to each app once. The same sign-in serves every assistant that uses it, and you can sign out of it under Settings > Connectors.
