Notion
Your assistant searches and reads your Notion pages, comments, and creates pages. Editing an existing page waits for your OK.
Connect Notion
- In the setup: pick Notion under What do you want to connect?, then click Connect on it in the next step.
- Later: on your assistant's page, under Connectors, click Add and pick Notion. Then click Connect on its card.
Sign in with your Notion account on its own sign-in page. Every call runs as you, and Willow keeps the sign-in: your assistant never sees it.
Scout uses Notion's own MCP server. Notion lists its tools once you sign in, so they show up after you connect.
What it starts with
Notion starts with these tools on, set up the safe way. Every other tool starts off.
| Tool | Name in MCP | Starts as |
|---|---|---|
| Notion search | notion-search | Use freely |
| Notion fetch | notion-fetch | Use freely |
| Notion get comments | notion-get-comments | Use freely |
| Notion create comment | notion-create-comment | Require Session |
| Notion create pages | notion-create-pages | Require Session |
| Notion update page | notion-update-page | Ask Each Time |
In the setup, these read Always allow, Require session and Always ask. To change one, or turn on more, open your assistant's page and click the arrow on Notion's card. See Apps and tools.
Try asking
- "Find my notes from last week"
Good to know
- The assistant only sees the pages your Notion account can see.
