FAQ

Can I connect multiple AI clients to the same Willow account?

Yes. Each client gets its own MCP configuration, but they all authenticate as you. You can have Cursor, Claude Code, and VS Code all connected simultaneously.

What's the difference between skills and commands?

Skills are instructions: they teach your AI how to approach a task. Commands are templates: they expand into text you send.

A skill might say "when reviewing code, check for these five things in this order." A command might expand into a code review request template you fill out and send.

Can I see what tools my AI is actually calling?

Not directly in the user interface. Your admin can see all tool calls in Willow's logs. If you need visibility into your own tool call history, ask your admin to share it with you or check if your org has monitoring set up.

My admin shared a toolkit with me. Where do I find it?

In Toolkits, look for the section labeled "Available toolkits" (below your personal toolkits). Admin-shared toolkits appear there.

Can other users see my skills and commands?

No. Skills and commands you create are private to your account. The only way others see them is if your admin publishes something org-wide, which you can't do as a regular user.

I got a new invite but already have a Willow account. What do I do?

The new invite might be for a different organization. Willow supports multiple organizations under one login. Accept the invite and you'll be added to the new org. You can switch between organizations from your profile menu.

How do I change my email or password?

Willow uses SSO (your organization's identity provider: Google, Microsoft, Okta, etc.). You can't change your email or password directly in Willow. Use your company's identity system.

What happens if I disconnect an MCP server mid-conversation?

The tools from that server become unavailable immediately. If your AI tries to call a tool from a disconnected server, the call will fail. Re-enable the server to restore access.
