Instinct
Instinct uses your agent's tools through a private page of web forms. It opens the link, signs in with the password, and fills in a form for each action. Everything runs as you, through Willow's gateway.
Before you start, give access from the agent's Overview tab.
Connect Instinct
The overview shows a step-by-step guide, Connect Instinct for the first time. Pick the language you chat with Instinct in, and Sprout writes the message in it.
- Send Instinct this message. Click Copy message and send it to Instinct. It includes the link.
- Save the password in Instinct's vault. When Instinct sends you its vault link, paste the password there, never in the chat.
- Approve when Instinct asks. When Instinct needs a session, or runs a tool that asks each time, it sends you a short link. Open it signed in to Sprout and tap Approve. Requests also wait for you under Approvals, with a notification and an email. See Approve tool calls.

What Instinct sees
The page is meant for Instinct. If you open the link on your own computer, it says the page is for Instinct only.
After signing in, Instinct sees:
- Whose account the page runs as, and whether a session is unlocked.
- Your requests: actions waiting for your approval and recent answers.
- Tools, grouped by app. Each is marked Needs a session, Asks each time or Sometimes asks first (a rule may make it ask), and opens a form.
- Memory and Skills to read.
When Instinct runs a tool that needs a session and none is approved, the page asks you for one and shows the link to send you. What Instinct filled in stays, and the tool runs once you approve. When a tool asks each time, the page shows "Waiting for" your approval, the link and a countdown. If you set up authenticator codes, the page also takes a code from you instead. If nobody approves within 30 minutes, the request lapses and Instinct can ask again.
A session only works in the browser that asked for it.
Results stay on the page for 30 minutes.
Troubleshooting

| "This password expired" | Make a new password on the agent's overview and save it in Instinct's vault. |
| "This page is closed" | You stopped access. Click Give access again on the overview. |
| "Too many wrong passwords" | Wait, then try again. Each new try waits longer. |
| A tool is "not connected yet" | Connect that app on the agent's Connectors tab. |
| "That's a lot of actions at once" | Instinct ran more than 60 actions in a minute. It can try again shortly. |
