What is Scout

Scout by Willow connects the personal AI assistant you already use to your apps, safely. You pick your assistant, pick apps like Gmail, Google Calendar or Slack, and choose what it may do in each. Scout gives the assistant one place to reach all of them. Every call runs as you, and nothing that matters runs without your OK.
Open Scout at scout.withwillow.ai. It's free, forever: your assistant brings its own AI model, so there's nothing to pay for.
Personal assistants
Scout works with five personal assistants. Each one connects in its own way, and each gets its own apps and access.
See Personal assistants to compare them.
Apps
Your assistant can use any app in Scout's catalog, or an MCP server you add yourself. These are the apps the setup offers first, each with a page on what your assistant can do in it:
See Apps.
Safe by default
Scout runs on Willow, the gateway companies use to control what their AI agents can do. Your assistant gets the same protection:
- Your accounts stay with Willow. When the assistant uses Gmail or GitHub, Willow holds the sign-in and makes the call. The assistant never sees a password or key.
- You choose what each tool may do. A tool can run freely, run only in a session you started, or ask you every time. Tools that change data start out asking.
- You approve from your phone. Requests ring your phone, and you approve with a tap. See Approve requests.
- Guards check every call. A prompt-injection shield is on from the start, and you can mask secrets and personal data. See Guards.
- A safety score shows what to tighten. The Safety section rates what the assistant can do and fixes each recommendation in one click. See Safety score.
- Everything is logged. Every sign-in, session and tool call shows up in the assistant's activity. See Activity.
Your assistants are personal: they use your accounts, and only you can approve what they ask for.
