SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey's official MCP server gives agents access to surveys, collectors, and response data as the signed-in SurveyMonkey user. The endpoint is https://mcp.surveymonkey.com/mcp over HTTP.

Unlike most official servers in the catalog, this one is not self-service yet. SurveyMonkey only issues OAuth clients to redirect URLs it has allowlisted, so Willow cannot register itself until SurveyMonkey approves yours.

Setting up

  1. In Willow, go to MCP Servers+ Add MCP server and find the SurveyMonkey card with the Official badge.
  2. Click + Use and copy the redirect URL from the setup steps.
  3. Send that URL to SurveyMonkey support or your account team and ask them to allow it as a redirect URI for their MCP server.
  4. Once SurveyMonkey confirms, finish adding the server and complete the OAuth prompt.

If SurveyMonkey hands you a client ID and secret instead of allowlisting the URL, paste them into the credentials step. Otherwise leave it empty — Willow registers itself automatically once the URL is approved.

note

The redirect URL is specific to your organization, so an approval covers your Willow tenant only. If you run more than one, ask SurveyMonkey to allow the pattern rather than a single URL.

Troubleshooting

"The redirect URI is invalid or not registered." SurveyMonkey has not allowlisted your redirect URL yet, so registering the OAuth client failed. Copy the URL from Willow rather than retyping it — it has to match exactly, including the trailing path.

A tool cannot read answer-level response data. Viewing response details requires a paid SurveyMonkey plan. SurveyMonkey grants only the scopes available to the authorizing user, so a free account authorizes successfully and still comes up empty on answers.
